Pinky, oh Pinky! Where for art thou, Pinky?

Yes, it is I, John Deere Mug. I am seeking my beloved Pinky. Will she be at the meeting on Saturday? Will I get to see her shiny pink outer coating and be mesmerized as I gaze into her "Gateway" logo?

Please, Janice? Please allow me a glimpse of my love.

As I weep from the cabinet...

I've escaped again...

And, this time I made a desperate call to my dear, sweet John Deere Mug. He is hopeless without me -- as he should be. ;o)

If you read my last post, you will note that I am not feeling very well. I am still under the weather but attribute it to the flu bug that is going around. I am sick, mostly in the mornings, and am SO hungry. I hope to be better by the weekend, though.

Janice went to Lena's Crit Group tonight so I am able to get online. Thank you, God, Janice has someplace to go so she'll finally get off the computer. She is on the thing all day! How am I to write to my beloved hubby if she is always online??!?!?!?!?!

Oh well. Maybe on my next escape, I'll buy a laptop. How much are these things anyway?

Until Janice goes to bed or leaves the house,

Feeling Blah in the Kitchen Cabinet

I've now been at home for one full week, and I'm sad to report that I don't feel so well at this point.

I just don't know, but I wish I could put my finger on it. I'm dizzy at times and a little nauseous, especially in the mornings. Hrmmmm I hope I'm not getting a stomach bug!

Maybe it's allergies.

With all that is going on, I wanted to stop by and say hi. I've talked with John, and let me tell you, it was a doozy trying to get to Janice's cell phone without her noticing.

Oh! I think she's coming!!! Until I escape again~

Pinky Speaks

Hello, my loyal following of readers!

If you have not heard, I finally made it back to Dallas into the safe hands of Janice. However, I have news for y'all.

Although I do love Janice and am happy to be back home, I must fill you in on a little secret.

John Deere Mug and I got married!!!!!

Here is our wedding photo!

Isn't John handsome!?!?!?!?!? After we ran away and foiled Patty and Jackie's rumored rescue mission, we made our way to Las Vegas where anyone -- even cups -- can tie the knot any time of day!

We then traveled the country and visited the Gateway Arch in St. Louis, Missouri. I wanted to take the ride to the top, but John promised he would vomit if we did. He may be a manly cup, but acrophobia is no respecter of persons. So we stayed with our cup bottoms firmly planted on terra firma.

Our next stop was Navy Pier in Chicago. It's quite lovely, and we thoroughly enjoyed being in the Windy City.

We then returned to Hewitt, Texas, mostly because Janice never sent any money. But, then we had to part because Dawn said Janice would want me back in Dallas. Dawn is such a great friend. She fought for John Deere Mug to return with me, but her husband refused to let him go. Dawn's husband is a rather large man --especially to a little pink Gateway travel mug -- so he won. Hence, John and I will temporarily be separated until Janice finds it in her heart to reunite our love.

I will forever love you, John Deere Mug. I will write every chance I get out of the cupboard.

Love,

Pinky Deere Mug

Celebrations, Love and Ruined Rescue Missions

On Friday night, we celebrated Dawn's birthday.

And that's when I met him...

When our logos met across the cake candle-lit bar, I knew he was the mug for me.

John Deere Mug. He's so handsome and rugged. Here is our picture with Dawn's inferno of a birthday cake.

John Deere Mug always remains cool under pressure, and from what Dawn has told me, is the perfect mug for her ever-present ice water. He's just dreamy.

My stay here with the captor has taken a turn for the better. I am whole. I am complete. I am in love.

On that note, I heard rumors of an attempted rescue mission by Patty and Jackie. I just couldn't leave my Mug. So we've left Hewitt and are now on our own.

Janice, please send money.

Until we write again,

Pinky and John

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JANICE!!!!!!!

Although I cannot be there, my captor has allowed me to post this message.

Happy Birthday, Janice!!! I hope you enjoyed your party at Lena's. I know that you would have taken me to it if I was there. *sigh* I can only hope for next year.

Must go. Dawn coming. She has a scrub brush. God help me!

Until we meet again,

Pinky

Massages, Circles and 3-year-olds, Oh My!

Hello, my tormentors!

On my second day in captivity, my captor took me to her massage therapist. It was quite relaxing and I feel like a brand new cup!

Maybe this kidnapped thing isn't so bad after all!

But then...

She took me to the three-year-olds at Parent's Day Out.

Actually, it wasn't too bad. In fact, I learned all about circles, and did you know that my top is a circle? Who'd a thought! As you can see, we watercolored today, and I survived paint free!

As of right now, I am doing okay. Janice, do not worry. God will deliver me home. I have faith! Please pray however, the dogs are starting to look at me funny. I think they like pink!

Until I write again,

Life is too Short for Bad Coffee

After I was rescued/kidnapped (Thanks, Marilyn!), Dawn took me to Buon Giorno, a lovely Christian-owned coffee shop on Hall-Johnson. It was quite lovely even in my predicament.

However, Dawn and Jackie thought it would be fun to mock me in photos. DANG THEM!

Here I am being the coffee cup in between God and Adam.

On the eighth day, God gave Adam coffee and man's love affair with the beverage began.

Funny, y'all. Really funny...

My torture has begun.

As a reprieve, we went to church on Sunday. It was a joyous service with wonderful music and a great message. Everyone was very nice to me and thought it was quite hysterical that I was on tour. Does no one see my pain?

After the service, we visited Tracy who heads their Meeting Needs Ministry and Food Pantry. She was getting food and personal items together for a few families. She didn't help me either. This is her witnessing my pain and doing absolutely nothing to help me.

This is what they have done to me so far. Today we are going to get a massage. I don't believe I have ever had a massage. I will have to ask Janice...if I ever make it home.

From my dungeon,

ONCE LOST BUT NOW FOUND: The Story of Janice's Cup Tour 2009

I sat alone on a table at La Hacienda Ranch. The room vacated, I weeped as the realization of the situation washed over me. Tears ran down my surface until I saw her. My savior. The one who noticed me all alone. Dawn. My day turned brighter as she lifted me into her arms. She carried me to the door where we talked with Marilyn, Betty and Jackie. Dawn so kindly asked for them to let Janice know that she had me, but then Marilyn--naughty, naughty Marilyn--said, "You should take it on tour and send her photos of its kidnapped adventures."

Oh, Marilyn. Why have you turned on me?

So now I am being held captive, and taken to places I have never seen or heard of. Hewitt? Where on God's green and beautiful earth is Hewitt?

At least she cleaned me up and keeps me safe from the dogs...for now.

I will try to post daily as I find ways to thwart my kidnapper. She is currently eating a salad and watching the Food Network. Woooo. Praise Jesus I'm not a food item.

Pray for me and my safe return to Janice. I miss you!

Until my captor A.D.D.'s again,
